This exciting gathering highlights the YOUTH OF THE YEAR
recognition program, which is the cornerstone of the
Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Character and Leadership
Development Core Program.
All Youth of the Year candidates go through a rigorous
application process: essay writing; securing recommendation
letters; and speech preparation. Judges interview the finalists
and select our new Youth of the Year.
