Parents, although you may finally be enjoying the spring sunshine, it’s time to think ahead to the summer. Summer – the weeks when kids are out of school, looking to you for entertainment. Fortunately, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Conejo Valley has some fantastic camps lined up this year. There is a camp to suit every type of parent, time commitment, and child! Our mission is to enhance the lives of young people and their families by offering a positive environment that cultivates academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character.
Camp Extreme
This fun-filled camp is designed with a different theme each week of summer. Campers entering grades 1 through 9 will enjoy water play, arts and crafts, group games, science, sports, and more! Every week, the campers will be able to participate in a field trip, too.
Surf Camp
Bring your own board or use one of ours to surf the beaches of Ventura. Spend 3 of the 5 days in surf lessons with experienced instructors from Try Surf. On the days not surfing, enjoy the Santa Monica Pier and the pool.
Travel Camp
Every day a new field trip! Join us for 6 weeks of Travel Camp. As a group, we travel to theme parks, museums, beaches, arcades, kayaking, swimming pools, Santa Monica Pier, water parks, movies, and much more!
Sports Camps
You can’t beat a bit of sport in summer! Ranging from all different ages to abilities, we welcome beginners and advanced students in these camps. Some camps include Basketball Camp, Soccer Camp, and Archery Camp.
Stem Summer School
Explore the world of dinosaurs, weather, and space, all while having fun. Don’t stop learning just because it’s summer. This three-week course integrates science with mathematics and language arts. The curriculum is standards-based and taught by qualified teachers. Students are grouped based on ability and grade level.
Camp-Out Adventures
We have two exciting Camp-Out Adventures this year – Mammoth Camp (five full days in Mammoth Lakes exploring, hiking, playing games, and boating), and Camp Sequoia Lake (eight days of living amongst nature, practicing archery, swimming, a ropes course, and more).
Elementary Camps
From field trips to day camps, your little ones are taken into good hands to learn, explore, and have fun.
Specialty Camps
These include STEM Summer School, Post Camp, Drama Revue, and Disney Live performance visit
