The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley is seeking a creative and ultra-organized Events and Logistics Coordinator to plan, manage and execute its annual Gala fundraising event, to be held September 12, 2021 at the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village.

This role is an amazing part-time opportunity that has the potential be expanded and/or become long-term/full-time depending on organizational and candidate interest and fit.

The Coordinator will work closely with Resource Development, Finance and Club staff, the Gala Committee, donors, event vendors, and volunteers to successfully realize this highly anticipated event and ensure it meets fundraising and donor stewardship goals.


  • Project and Budget Management and Reporting
  • Soup-to-Nuts Event Planning and Execution
  • Vendor and Media Relations and Coordination
  • Graphic Design and Collateral Material Development
  • Volunteer Recruitment, Training and Management
  • Donor Interaction
  • Gift and Data Tracking


  • Bachelor’s degree (a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university) preferred.
  • Drivers’ License – Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • 3-5 years of successful special events experience in a nonprofit or corporate setting.
  • Demonstrable experience in areas of donor relations, volunteer management, and Boys & Girls Club operations is highly desirable.
  • Experience in marketing, graphic design, and communications preferred.
