The Clubs are looking for fun part-time Youth Development Professionals at our sites for an exciting school year! Opportunities are available in both Conejo Valley and Las Virgenes.

We are hiring for the following opportunities:

  • Thousand Oaks MWRF 12:00-5:00, T 11:30-5:00 (T is minimum day)
  • Thousand Oaks M-R 2:30pm-4:00pm
  • Calabasas MTRF 1:45-6:15, W 12:15-5:45 (W is minimum day)

Job Description:

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley is offering an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our dynamic, forward-thinking team. The Clubs are looking for fun part time Youth Development Professionals at our sites for an exciting school year!  We rely on the dedication of caring employees to provide a safe, nurturing environment for kids to learn and grow. Join a team of passionate individuals in our various child care programs who are working to make a difference for kids.

Shifts may vary based on school schedule

Qualifications:

  • Required two years’ experience in before and after school youth programming.
  • Background in sports or arts a plus
  • Ability to communicate with the general public clearly and to organize and problem solve
  • Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications
  • Early Childhood Education Credits a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Track, plan, promote and encourage program participation.
  • Responsible for lesson planning and creating own programs and activities
  • Supervision of a group of children
  • Ensure programs, services and activities that prepare youth for success, promote safety of members and quality in programs at all times.
