What we need:
We have coaching opportunities available year-round for our basketball league! Our adult and youth coaches work with children from 3 to 12 years of age to help build their understanding of the game, fundamental skills, work ethic, and team work. Our unique “games approach” style of instruction and our low-competitive environment create the perfect atmosphere to help children learn everything from the basic rules to the perfect shot while having fun and making friends!
How this helps:
- Youth members learn the importance of teamwork and how to interact with others in a constructive and meaningful way
- Our basketball league gives our members a change to learn new skills and make friends while learning basketball skills to help them join school teams as they get older
- The teamwork, work ethic, and cooperation skills that playing on a team can foster will help guide our members throughout their lives
What we have:
- Courts are reserved at Los Cerritos Middle School Gym (2100 E. Avenida de las Flores, Thousand Oaks)
