Creative things to do to celebrate dad this Father’s Day.

Father’s Day takes place on Sunday, 17 June. As well as showering dads with cards and gifts, we’ve got a few ideas on how to celebrate dad. These dad-friendly activities help to celebrate the man in your life and are suitable for the whole family! Which will you choose to do?

Start with breakfast in bed. What better way to celebrate dad than to bring him his favorite breakfast in bed? This will make an excellent start to his day!

Take a hike. Find a local trail near you and pack a lunch for the whole family. Not only will dad enjoy seeing the sights and sounds of nature, but it is a great way to get active and spend time together.

Plan a scavenger hunt. Hide dad’s gifts in different locations in the house and backyard. Help the kids devise clues written on small scraps of paper that lead him from the garage to the basement and so on!

Make a Father’s Day picnic. Fill a basket with dad’s favorite sandwiches, snacks, and drinks. Each member of the family can be in charge of one element on the meal so that the kids feel involved, too.

Hold a movie marathon. Let dad pick (suitable) films for an evening of movies! Get the whole family involved in making snacks for it.

These simple but meaningful Father’s Day activities will surely make dad happy and will create lasting memories for the whole family as well.
