Members from all over our community come together to create amazing programs and services that benefit the kids in our community by providing safe and reliable spaces filled with thoughtful and caring mentors passionate about our mission. Together, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley and our volunteers enhance the lives of young people and their families by providing a positive environment that cultivates academic success, healthy lifestyles, good character, and citizenship! Lend Your Talents
We are always looking for volunteers who are ready to be engaged and make a positive impact through opportunities like beautification projects, programming, event volunteering, or even just being open to meeting youth and families in our community! For the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley, commitment is our key to success as it is incredibly important that our youth receive consistent support and mentorship. And we ask for volunteers to honor their commitments to not only provide stability to our members, but to act as a role model and help build engaging and active young adults. We understand the complexity of schedules and offer opportunities for both long-term and short-term commitments to make sure anyone in our community can help our youth!
Volunteer Requirements

All potential volunteers must be 15 years or older and submit an online application.

Human Resources sends an invitation to attend a mandatory orientation training, along with the necessary paperwork to complete.

Volunteers attend the mandatory orientation, turn in their completed paperwork, and complete their safety training.

Human Resources performs the required background check and reference check.

Volunteer receives notice of a cleared background check and reference check.

Volunteer receives a welcome letter via email. They also receive a phone call with their start date, volunteer location, and the name of their supervisor.

When you volunteer at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley, you can make a difference in the lives of youth and give back to your community. Within the first few minutes of walking into a Club, you know you’re in a special place. Filled with the sounds and energy of spirited children and friendly, caring professionals, the Club is a fun and hopeful environment. Whether you help with homework, coach a game, or teach an art project, you’ll have the opportunity to build healthy relationships with young people eager for adult guidance, and have a positive impact on their lives. In turn, you will find that spending time with these young people has a positive impact on you as well.
